So let me get this right. The woman who caught COVID19 wore a mask and still caught the virus. Exactly what does that prove?

Well to be fair stories like this prove nothing at all. Nobody knows if she caught it from her unmasked buddy or from some place else. Unless in the previous week or so she lived in a closed area with the unmasked scofflaw and did not come in contact with anyone else.

I don’t think states that lifted the mask mandate early fared any worse then states like CA kept them to the bloody end. So what does that tell us.

Also the seat belt analogy doesn’t really hold up. I think non medical mask worn improperly and handled the way most people handled them were more like masking tape than a modern seat belt. So would I bother taping myself into a car seat…..probably not.
