My son wanted to play a sport and my rule is if you sign up you need to follow through for the season. The first day he hated it and we talked about the reasons. I made him go back and by the 4th practice he loved it. If I let him quit he would have missed out on a great experience. Now he signed up for drum lessons (a package of 6) loved the first few and was really quite talented. At the end he decided he wanted to try something else and never went back.
