It was too good to be true and frankly totally obnoxious. The other optimistic version of you is a bit silly though. There is a happy medium between doom scrolling based on stuff you hear from Twitter and being that silly version of optimistic. You can both do what you can to solve problems and still take all the doom and gloom with a grain of salt. So I say “no” to Amazon but for god sakes think about the mental health of kids who have very very little risk of Covid. Frankly if you want to protect your kids from a danger greater to them than Covid stop driving them anywhere.
