I highlighted this portion to a point out a knee jerk reaction I see a lot. It also one I think our so called elites use to keep us divided for the wrong reasons. A population divided and bickering over right vs. left, republican vs democrat is a population who cannot force change.
Instead let’s look at the facts and hold our leaders accountable. The price of education has soared in a large part due to schools prioritizing the building of fancy dorms and building and hiring lots of high paid administrative staff. When you have almost as many administrator as you do faculty or even more administrators I think you have an institution is less about education and more about cronyism and graft.
One of the schools highlighted in this article is University of California system. Last time I checked California is run by the Democrats not the Republicans. Should I blame the Democrats or should I blame a certain mind set by the upper classes who are using their power to suck resources from the lower classes.
