I am not saying that law enforcement should not be at full alert given the actions outlined in the flyer. If they are not on full alert and investigating we need new law enforcement real quick.

All I am saying is that nobody should advocate for “mass arrests” based solely on that flyer. Who exactly are we arresting? Just random people we don’t agree with politically so as to frighten people into not acting on their political beliefs? Random protestors who didn’t commit a crime but happened to be part of protests that happened around the Capitol?

How many people actually broke into the Capitol building? I haven’t seen a number but certainly it was a small percentage of the people of who took part in the protests in and around DC. Are we going to take a page out of the Chinese government’s playbook to squelch protests and do a mass round up of our political opponents?

People died at the Capitol building and people died during BLM protests. All of these deaths were horrible and should not have happened but “mass arrests” of anyone other than the people who acted criminally and unlawfully is wrong and a danger to our democracy.
