How about how those price increases impacts the cost of everything and disproportionately impacts the poorer people in our country.

How does our food and other goods get to the marketplace? Trucks using gas and oil transport everything and an increase in fuel is passed along to the consumer in the price of food and goods.

If we ration plane trips the price will shoot up and poorer people won’t be able to afford to travel. Certainly they won’t be able to go to anyplace far away.

I do not want to live in the world you propose where only elites can travel and the poor among bear the brunt of price increases.
