For the good of our country I want the best people possible working for our President no matter how horrible that President may be (if for no other reason to have adults in the room to moderate) Also, I worry about this stance only targeting this President furthering the optics of an elite group targeting “conservatives” . I think it plays into the hands of people claiming that our media is biased.

What about people who lied for leaders in the past? Why aren’t they being called to account for their actions. I remember James Carville speaking to allegations leveled against Bill Clinton. His words were not only in furtherance of lies about the allegations but he denigrated the victims by saying “drag a $100 bill through a trailer camp and there’s no telling what you will find” I don’t remember any outrage by the press over those comments.
